I'm not one to really post super personal stuff. So I'll make this quick and simple. My life has sort of changed a little in the past few months. I made this for a friend as a silly way of delivering the news.
(note- it's interactive!)
(here's a YouTube link if the interactive version doesn't load)
I also wanted to say thanks to my friends and family for all of their support (of which there's been a lot). I've learned so much in the recent months, but the most important thing that I've been told is that everyone deserves to be happy. And I must say I agree.

"This is Boring."
There's two days until Thanksgiving break, and I'm definitely having a hard time concentrating.

"The Quest to Draw a Perfect Circle"
I swear sometimes at work I spend half my time just trying to draw a decent circle.

I Wish Real Life Were More Like "Metroid"
I was playing "Metroid Prime" the other day and had this mental image.

"Just Because" Music Video
During February, I spent a lot of time working on a music video for a "One Smith Band" contest. They are a local Boston group and make pretty awesome music. I'm pretty happy with how the video came out. Obviously I would've liked to tweak many things had there been more time (the backgrounds, most importantly), but, you do what you can. I've discovered that working on music videos is super fun. Working out the timing and seeing it all come together is like a puzzle, and finishing it and being happy with it is very satisfying.
But, I will not take all the credit. Here are the awesome people I worked with:
Stephanie Stender - director
Justin Cichon - animator
Geoff Marian - animator

The "Lost" Side-Effect
I haven't updated my blog in about 2 months. I think this can mostly be attributed to my 2-month addiction to the TV show "Lost." But, that's over with now, so I figured I'd update my blog with a "Lost"-themed animation.
There's theories about the healing effects of the island in "Lost." I don't think anyone really knows why, yet. But it'd be fun to try out this theory on other islands.
Or... totally not fun at all.
